Raphael has formed part of Radio Gibraltar's Spanish language team for over 25 years.
In 1984 he was contracted as a freelance presenter for a one hour Sunday show, after he which he moved to a fortnightly two hour show on Saturdays, which he shared with his long-time colleage, Gerry Martinez. Since Gerry's final bow out of Radio Gibraltar in 2009, Raphael is now the main presenter of the programme every week.
Since 2007, Raphael has also presented English language shows, notably "Jazz Town", that airs every Tuesday at 7pm, where he shares with his listeners his life-long passion for the genre.
Raphael is married with two sons.
