Christine trained with the BBC in London and is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Management. For 10 years she presented the "Breakfast Show", and now continues producing that show’s "Newshour", as well as Radio Gibraltar’s flagship news magazine programme, "Focus", which airs daily at 1pm. Christine also co-produces and presents Saturday’s, "Newsweek", segment, offering a review of the week’s top local news stories.
As one of the station’s longest serving members, she joined Radio Gibraltar in 1978, Chris has presented a wide-range of programmes, including “Miscellany” from the old Wellington Front studios and subsequently from the current Broadcasting House, which was the forerunner to today’s “Focus” programme. She has also interviewed many a famous face, from the world of entertainment to royalty, as well as being closely involved in live coverage of major events, such as general elections, the arrival and departure ceremonies of governors etc.
Chris is one of Radio Gibraltar’s main newsreaders and interviewers, for which she maintains a keen interest in political affairs. Her other interests extend from music to reading and travel.
