The GBC engineering team provide an important supportive role to maintain the Corporation’s technical services and facilities to international standards.
A compact team of Engineer and Technician grades are professionally qualified to handle the range of equipment systems across the Studio, Outside Broadcast and Transmission Networks.
A key workload in the development of the corporate service is with the present transition to digital services. These services will also extend to the introduction of Digital Terrestrial Television (DTT) and the provision of Terrestrial Digital Audio Broadcasting (T-DAB) to the Radio operation.
