"La Roca" wins prize at international film festival

The recently aired documentary on Gibraltar, “La Roca”, has won a prize at an international film festival.
The film, by Raul Santos, won the Audience Special Award in the Saratov International Documentary Film Festival.
The gala’s presenters also praised the emotional impact of the film, and thanked the filmmaker for allowing them to learn about a new and fascinating place.
Accepting the award, Raul Santos thanked the Festival for the opportunity to tell his story, one he described as being “of love and hate”. The film will next be shown at the Cinespagne Festival in Toulouse, France.
