Ground has already been broken for the construction of the new Notre Dame First School on Winston Churchill Avenue, which is set for completion in August 2018.
Piling operations will begin tomorrow between 8am and 7pm, with some additional work required at the weekends. The Government regrets the inconvenience to residents in the area, but says these are planned for completition before the Christmas break.
Acting Director of Education Darren Grech said the work will be a short-term invonvenience compared to the long-term benefits of having a new school.
