The GSD has unveiled plans for an underground car park at Grand Parade which will provide 500 more spaces than Government’s controversial above-ground, multi-storey proposal. This will form part of their policy going into the next election.
The GSD say the project is geologically feasible and would be self-financing – providing much needed extra parking bays for residents, tourists and those wishing to buy permanent spaces and garages. No overground construction is envisaged.
