The new multi storey car park at the Theatre Royal Site will provide 90 new parking spaces on two levels. The parking facilities will be over and above those offered by the car park which will be built near the Commonwealth Park project. This has been confirmed to GBC by Project Director Carl Viagas.

 

The overall cost of the project will be three million pounds. Phase one of the project involves the excavation for the two parking levels and the construction of the parking. Phase two will include beautification and reworking of the 'Piazzella' Area, and phase three will extend that to the area outside St Andrew's Church.

 

The site will also include a terraced area which will house the new Catholic Community Centre.
