Employees of Hassans Law Firm, Natwest Bank and pupils and teachers at the Hebrew School were evacuated this morning after a “letter that seemed to be of a threatening nature” was received by a member of staff at one of the offices.
A Royal Gibraltar Police spokesperson has described it as a “non-incident”, which coincided with an unrelated fire alarm at Natwest. The RGP says that at no time were any suspect parcels or devices involved. However, it will be investigating the letter.
GBC understands that the situation has now returned to normal, with those evacuated returning to their posts.
