‘Winds of Change’ play marking 1967 Referendum, pays tribute to Gibraltar’s culture and community.

An original play documenting life on the Rock leading up to the 1967 Referendum, focuses on real life stories and characters. ‘Winds of Change’ produced by the White Light Company, who also brought us “Llevame Donde Naci” focusing on the evacuation, aims to commemorate the significant event. The group hopes to provide a better understanding of this defining moment in history whilst paying tribute to Gibraltar’s culture and community. The production relies on music, dance, and poetry in a bid to convey the sentiment of the occasion.

The play will run at the John Mackintosh Hall between the 18th and 20th of January, raising funds for charities Stay Clean, GibSams and the Dyslexia Society.

Tickets, priced at £12 for the Thursday and Friday performances and £14 for Saturday's gala night, are available from tickets.gi and from the John Mackintosh Hall Box Office between 5pm and 7pm, from Monday to Friday.
