Susan Clifton Tucker

TV Presenter

An English and Spanish language graduate, Susan anchors GBC's flagship news programme Newswatch. She started her career as a television continuity announcer in 1972 and then branched out into presenting and co-producing numerous programmes for the Corporation including Midweek with Susan, a one-hour live chat show featuring U.K. celebrities.

Susan then moved into news reporting following training with The London School Journalism and spent a year away, employed as a reporter and television news anchor for CTV working between Guernsey and Jersey.

On her return to the Rock she worked as a senior reporter and Duty news editor, which included her covering events at the House of Lords and the United Nations in New York. Her keen interest in The development of Gibraltar's finance centre, also saw her producing and presenting a series of one hour live Viewpoint programmes ranging in subject from The Gaming Industry to European Union Legislation affecting Gibraltar's financial industry.

She has been involved in presenting events for charity around the Rock over many years, most notably GBC's Open Days. Susan has also co-hosted numerous Miss Gibraltar Pageants and fashion shows. She also contributes to newspapers and magazines.

In her leisure time she enjoys reading, cycling and travelling. Susan is married to Andrew and considers her most important production to be their daughter Sophie.
