RIGHT OF REPLY

GBC will at all times take care that all references within programmes to identifiable individuals and organisations do not cause unfairness. Allegations or statements of fact broadcast by the Corporation need to be accurate, otherwise they are likely to result in unfairness. In the event that this occurs, the subjects of significant allegations or criticism may seek an appropriate response. If a programme alleges wrongdoing or incompetence or makes other significant allegations, those concerned will normally be given an appropriate and timely opportunity to respond. Requests for a 'right of reply' should be directed in the first instance to the Editor at news@gbc.gi.
