GBC Online FAQ's

GBC Television broadcasts in the British Overseas Territory of Gibraltar, Europe. It can be viewed on channels 30 (for HD service) and 56 (for SD service) on DVBTV via Gibraltar Freeview. If you have a cable supplier please refer to their own channel listings.

Locally produced programmes are available to watch online on our website during live transmission, and on demand. Please note that due to contractual reasons certain programmes cannot be made available online.

Radio Gibraltar broadcasts from the British Overseas Territory of Gibraltar, Europe. It operates on two channels; Radio Gibraltar, and Radio Gibraltar Plus.

Radio Gibraltar can be found by tuning your radio to 91.3FM or 92.6FM. On DAB+ it can be found on Channel 12. It is also available online on our website and via the Radio Gibraltar app.

Radio Gibraltar Plus is on 100.5FM and 1458AM. On DAB+ it can be found on Channel 12. It is also available online on our website and via the Radio Gibraltar app.

Some of Radio Gibraltar’s programmes are available on demand via our website’s Radio Gibraltar page.

If contact details like a phone number or e-mail address are available you can find them on the programme’s website. Go to the GBC Television Programmes to search for the programme's website page. In the absence of specific contact details, you can send an email to: television@gbc.gi

You could also try checking Social Media to see if the programme has a specific Twitter or Facebook account.

There are local news bulletins on Radio Gibraltar every weekday at 08:30, 13:30 & 18:30, and a bulletin on GBC TV every weekday at 20:30 (repeats at 23:00). You can also keep updated 7-days a week via the GBC News page on our website, the GBC News app, the GBC News Facebook page and @gbcnewsroom on Twitter.

Prizes are available from our reception at Broadcasting House during office hours: 09:30 to 16:30 (weekdays) as from 12pm on the next working day after the competition has taken place.

GBC does not yet provide Closed Captioning on air. You can access Closed Captions over programmes on demand on our website with these available 48 hours after the original broadcast of the programme on air.
