The Gibraltar National Museum is to hold its 18th annual Open Day this weekend, timed to coincide with International Museums Day.
This year's theme is "Museums as Cultural Hubs: the future of tradition".
The day will include children's activities such as face-painting, arts and crafts workshops, and a treasure hunt.
There will also be a fancy dress competition; this year's theme is "traditional".
The museum staff will be on hand to answer any questions, with contributions as well from the National Archives and the Nautilus Project.
Additionally, the newly-acquired pocket watch designed in the 18th century by Gibraltar goldsmith Henry Cowper will be on display for the first time.
The event runs from ten to six on Saturday; fancy dress participants must register before 12.30. Entry is free.
