A third positive case of Covid-19 has been identified at Westside School, the Government has today confirmed.
In a statement, it said the Contact Tracing team has been liaising with school staff and the Department of Education. As a result, 14 individuals (7 staff members and 7 students) have been instructed to self-isolate. Number Six confirmed that there is no identified epidemiological link between this positive case and the previous two cases at the school.
Students who attend Westside are advised to go to school as normal if they have not been called by the Contact Tracing Bureau. Close contacts and siblings of children who have been asked to self-isolate should also attend school as normal, unless told otherwise by the Bureau.
