44 year old Argentinian national of no fixed address arrested on suspicion of Burglary

A 44 year old Argentinian national of no fixed address has been arrested on suspicion of Burglary.

The arrest came about after officers from the Community Policing Team spotted a number of items suspected to have been stolen while conducting a foot patrol of the Upper Town this morning.

Response Team officers had earlier identified a shop with a damaged window. A report of Burglary was received and the property found identified as originating from these premises.

The suspect was located and arrested shortly afterwards on suspicion of Burglary, and is currently in Police Custody.

An investigation is ongoing.
