63 bids received as Admiralty Marshal closes Axioma auction

Published by GBC News

The Admiralty Marshal has received 63 bids for the MY Axioma super-yacht owned by Russian Oligarch Dmitry Pumpyansky.

The 73 metre vessel was detained in Gibraltar after JP Morgan filed an Admiralty Claim last March.

The auction process has been handled by the Admiralty Marshal’s broker Nigel Hollyer of Howe Robinson. 63 sealed bids were received by today's midday deadline and the process is expected to take between 10 and 14 days.

The nine year old luxury vessel features six cabins, a swimming pool, cinema, spa and gym, and is estimated to be worth around £65 million, although the Admiralty Marshal has not commented on its value.

It is the first such vessel to be put on sale following the economic sanctions against Russian.
