It's A-Level results day.
After a summer of waiting, students from Bayside and Westside, the College, and Prior Park have all been receiving their grades this morning.
Speaking to GBC, the Director of Education, Keri Scott, said there were a lot of success stories.
The Education Department announced a 92% overall pass rate from grades A* to E.
Prior Park has reported a 100% overall pass rate, with 89% of grades at A* to C.

In the UK, the number of A* and A grades is up to 28 and a half percent. This figure shot up during 2020 and 2021, when results were based on teachers' assessments, but stricter marking since 2023 saw numbers come back down before beginning to rise again slowly.
For the second year in a row, statistics show boys have outperformed girls at the top grades in the UK. This year the gap has widened to almost one percentage point between the sexes at A* and A grades.
The most popular subject at A-level continues to be maths. Psychology is a close second, with an uptake in economics making it the 5th most popular A-level subject this year, after biology and chemistry.
The number of students following T-Levels has also surged, with almost twenty thousand of these going on to university. Launched in 2020, the 2-year technical qualifications were created to prepare students for skilled work, higher education or apprenticeships.
Reports suggest a record number of over two hundred and fifty thousand 18 year olds in the UK will go on to further education after the summer.
