Almost 41,000 registered vehicles in Gibraltar with 89% petrol and diesel

There are currently 40,983 registered vehicles on the road.
The Minister for the Environment revealed the figures in answer to questions by the Opposition Leader.
Almost 89% of these are petrol and diesel-powered, although John Cortes said there is a growing trend towards electric and hybrid vehicles.
