A man has been sentenced to almost four years in prison, for possession and intent to supply 185 grammes of cocaine and 51 MDMA tablets.
Aaron Ullger was sentenced at the Supreme Court for an incident that occurred last year.
Back in August, acting on intelligence, the Royal Gibraltar Police went to the 26 year old’s garage to search it.
Once there, Ullger was also arriving in the area. He saw the police and then sped up, throwing some items out of his vehicle in the process. This turned to be a wrapper containing two grammes of cocaine.
Inside the garage, police found 185 grammes of cocaine and 51 MDMA tablets.
Ullger was initially charged with another defendant, who has since been cleared of all charges.
Puisne Judge Karen Ramagge Prescott described Ullger’s role in the drug trade chain as significant.
Ullger was sentenced to three years and 10 months, and one year and four months, for possession and intent to supply the cocaine and MDMA tablets, respectively. These sentences are to be served concurrently.
He has already served almost a year of this sentence whilst on remand.
