Ancient DNA from remains found on the Rock has been used in a major genetic study of Iberian history.
The Gibraltar group worked alongside a 111-person international team led by researchers at Harvard Medical School.
The study looked at the history of the Iberian Peninsular population over 8000 years; the results have been published in the renowned US online journal 'Science'.
