British Airway's CityFlyer operated its inaugural service from London City Airport to Gibraltar on Friday afternoon.
The new service is operating twice weekly until the end of September on Fridays and Mondays with the more compact Embraer E190 aircraft.
Arriving passengers were presented with Visit Gibraltar branded gifts and were greeted by Transport and Tourism Minister Vijay Daryanani, along with teams from the Airport the Tourist Board
Minister Daryanani says this is the fourth new air service to Gibraltar and the third new airline in the last seven months. He adds the earlier start to the service shows the airlines commitment to the Rock.
