September’s Calpe Conference will bring together experts from around the world for a series of lectures and discussions across four days.

"Neanderthal: The Conference" will be the 30th edition of the event; the conference coincides with the 100th anniversary of the discovery of 'Gibraltar 2' at Devil's Tower, the skull of a Neanderthal child.

Claire Hernandez asked Professors Clive, Geraldine and Stewart Finlayson about the significance of this second Neanderthal find.

The Calpe Conference takes place from Wednesday 2nd September, at the University of Gibraltar.

Registration is required, and the event is free to Gibraltar residents.
