Chief Minister to give evidence before House of Commons European Scrutiny Committee

The Chief Minister is to give evidence before the House of Commons European Scrutiny Committee tomorrow, regarding the ongoing UK-EU negotiations on Gibraltar's future EU relationship.

On Monday, Fabian Picardo briefed the Cabinet on the subject, followed by the Leader of the GSD Opposition and the leader of Together Gibraltar.

Number Six adds the Deputy Chief Minister has given a number of briefings on the preparation for a no-deal outcome to a number of stakeholders, including the Gibraltar Parliament's Brexit Select Committee.

Joseph Garcia will act as Chief Minister in Fabian Picardo's absence. Mr Picardo left for London on Tuesday; he will be accompanied in the evidence session by the Attorney General, Michael Llamas. It will be broadcast from 3.30 tomorrow afternoon on GBC TV and Radio Gibraltar Plus AM.
