The Chief Minister, Fabian Picardo, officially opened the Mid Town Park earlier this week.
Mr Picardo, together with Environment and Culture Minister John Cortes, unveiled a limestone plaque renaming it Campion Park, after Gibraltar's national flower.
Also present was Christian Bjørløw, CEO of Trusted Novus Bank, who donated the 3.7 million pounds it cost to develop the park.
The park now features the bank's logo, also the campion, as part its design. The bank says this symbolises its roots in Gibraltar and its commitment to the community.
It says it chose to support an investment in Gibraltar's urban renewal and green space through this project.
