COVID-19 cases on the Rock rise to 185, with four in hospital

The number of active COVID-19 cases in Gibraltar has remained above a hundred since the 11th of this month.

On Thursday, the number of active cases rose to 185, with 24 new cases recorded in the statistics.

There are four cases in the COVID-19 Ward at St Bernard's Hospital.

The vast majority of the cases have been confirmed as arising from the Delta variant of the coronavirus.

There are 207 people in self-isolation.

However, there have been 13 new recoveries - and over 8,000 people have received booster doses of the vaccine.
