Cross- Party MPs, Peers and Freemen of the City of Gibraltar, here for National Day have this afternoon signed the National Day Banner.

The Parliamentarians had a full schedule planned for them.

It's the first National Day post the provisional implementation of the Treaty and the visit will allow for briefings and offer the opportunity for the MPs and peers to assess the situation on the ground.

The travel chaos in Heathrow and Gatwick has impacted some travel plans, with alternative arrangements being looked into.

A fireside chat with Lord Bilimoria at the Casino Calpe tonight had to be cancelled.

The group will pay courtesy calls on the Governor, the Chief Minister and the Deputy Chief Minister.

They have been briefed on financial services by the Minister for Trade and Industry, Nigel Feetham, with a focus on the gambling duty changes.

There have also been visits to the university and to the hospital where they witnessed a live screening of the innovative robotic surgery.

Tomorrow they will attend the political rally at Casemates.

Local Parliamentarians joined in signing the banner today with Sir Joe Bossano's message open to interpretation and perhaps a tease or hint that he will not be standing for re-election.
