Gibraltar will hold a Youth Arts Jamboree next month, as a cultural development programme for children and young people. Launched by the Gibraltar Cultural Services, on behalf of the Ministry of Culture and Youth, it will include a variety of activities and opportunities seeing the involvement of many different groups and associations.
The Minister for Culture, Steven Linares says its imperative that we invest in our youth, so we can get them involved whilst celebrating their artistic and cultural achievements. A cultural devlopment unit, is something the Government is also working towards.
The Jamboree will run from the 12th of February till the 10th of March, and will culminate with a Youth Open Day organised the Youth Service.
