Another drugs haul was processed at the Magistrates Court on Wednesday morning.
This follows two La Linea residents being caught on a boat on Tuesday afternoon with more than 800kg of cannabis resin in their possession.
The drugs were seized by the Customs Marine unit during a routine patrol, in which officers stopped and questioned two men on a Spanish registered pleasure craft South of Europa Point.
A search revealed a concealed compartment packed with cannabis that has an estimated street value of over £4million.
Joao Gomes Dos Santos and David Norton Munoz subsequently pleaded guilty to the possession, importation and intent to supply 826.5kgs of the Class B drug at court.
Due to the seriousness of the charges, their case has been sent to the Supreme Court, where the pair will be sentenced on the 11th of February.
