The Rosia Bay project will include a residential development of 75 flats, as well as commercial units and on site parking. The project came before the DPC for the Town Planner to set his opinion on what the scope of the Environmental Impact Assessment should be. The Environmental Safety Group, the GONHS and the Heritage Trust were in opposition to the project even being considered at this stage, saying it was completely against the development plan.
A previous proposed development was rejected but sent back for reconsideration with the applicants invited to find solutions to the issues raised.
