EasyJet has announced a new route between Gibraltar and London Luton airports, starting in December.
The airline says the new service will operate twice weekly, on Tuesdays and Saturdays, with fares starting from just under sixteen pounds. It’s the fourth EasyJet Gibraltar route, with the others being London Gatwick, Manchester and Bristol.
In a statement, EasyJet’s UK Country Manager, Ali Gayward, said the airline continues to see an increased number of travellers looking to fly on its Gibraltar routes, adding the company is confident the new route will prove popular. Minister for Tourism, Gilbert Licudi, said the news was very welcome, adding it shows EasyJet’s commitment to Gibraltar.
