Exchange programme; Berlin artist reacts to 'Gibraltar's spaces'

Berlin artist, Brigit Holmer, is on the Rock as part of an artist residency exchange programme organised by the Cultural Services. The 40-year old who likes to challenge herself and continuously try out new ideas and concepts, has produced some new work here. Brigit’s creations rely on simple materials and forms whilst working with the spaces Gibraltar has to offer. 

A joint exhibition together with local artist Shane Dalmedo who was part of the exchange, is on at the John Mackintosh Hall, until the 20th of October. Some of her exhibits can also be found in different outdoor sites, with a walking tour planned for tomorrow.
