Exhibition of Moroccan art is now open at the Gustavo Bacarisas Gallery

An exhibition of Moroccan art is now open at the Gustavo Bacarisas Gallery.

‘Isthmus’ is a collaboration with Gallery Kent Tangier and the JM Memorial Foundation.

It features works from three Moroccan artists and is part of the continued cultural exchange between Gibraltar and Tangier.

The works by Abdelkrim Ouazzani, Ilias Selfati and Mohamed Benyaich are distinct and eye catching.

The exhibition continues the cultural links between The Rock and Tangier, which were spearheaded by GCS.

Previous initiatives included various art exhibitions, a weekend of workshops at Donabo Gardens and the production of a music video representing musical styles from both communities.

This collaboration was made possible thanks to Gallery Kent Tangier and the JM Memorial Foundation. The exhibition will run until 9th March.
