Finalists announced in Sovereign Arts Foundation competition

The Sovereign Art Foundation has announced 20 finalists for its 2021 Gibraltar Students Prize, shortlisted from 126 submissions.

Four separate prizes are on offer:

  • The winner of the Judge's Prize to be awarded a trophy and £800 with their school's art department receiving £2,000.
  • The Public Vote Prize winner will receive a trophy and £400 with £1,000 given to their school art department.
  • The Hassans Prize category will see both winner and their art department awarded £300.
  • The winner of the 11-14 age group will win £250 from the Arts Society.

All 20 artworks will be displayed at the Finalists' Exhbition at the Fine Arts Gallery from 6-11th December and in John Mackintosh Hall from 13-17th December.

The winners of the Judge's and Public Vote prizes will be entered into the annual SAF Global Students Prize

Furthermore, some of the finalists' artworks will be sold via silent auction atthe agreement of each student.

All 20 shortlisted artworks are available on the SAF website, along with information on how to vote and bid for each of them.
