If you’re caught driving in Spain with flip flops, barefoot, or whilst wearing no shirt, you could face a fine of up to 200 euros.
This is a warning made by Spain’s traffic ministry this summer.
A statement issued today says driving with flip flops or barefoot can be dangerous, and driving without a shirt can cause seatbelt burns or irritations which can lead to accidents.
Spanish police will therefore be looking out for, and clamping down on these practices over the summer months
