Fire at Rock Hotel put out 'in minutes' with no-one in danger

The Fire and Rescue Service was called out to tackle a fire at the Rock Hotel early this morning.

Two fire appliances attended the scene, and the fire was under control within 20 minutes.

The GFRS told GBC the fire started in a kitchen area, and not much damage was sustained.

It says no-one was in danger, with staff and guests self-evacuating once the fire alarm was set off.
