The Foreign Office says it's aware of two incursions, one by air and one by sea.
A Spanish vessel was challenged by the Royal Navy Monday afternoon and escorted out of British Gibraltar Territorial Waters.
Later in the afternoon, a Spanish military plane flew into Gibraltar's airspace.
In response to GBC questions, the office of the Governor confirmed it is aware of both incursions.
It says it makes formal diplomatic representations to Spain on incursions "where appropriate".
The Foreign Office maintains incursions are a violation of UK sovereignty, "but not a threat to it".
