The Gibraltar Federation of Small Businesses held its annual dinner last night at the Rock Hotel. Brexit was once again the focus of the evening, as guest speaker Fabian Picardo re-affirmed his belief that an Article 50 revocation was the best way forward for both the UK and Gibraltar. The Chief Minister also defended the Spain-Gibraltar Tax Treaty, challenging the GSD to make it its policy to terminate the agreement.
Chairman Julian Byrne told GBC Gibraltar was in a strong position whatever happens with Brexit, adding he looked forward to various initiatives such as the Business Improvement District, the incorporation of Women In Business into the GFSB and also the changes to business licensing.
