A GHA public meeting will be held at the new Rooke elderly residential facility on Tuesday evening.

GHA Director General, Dr Paul Bosio will give a presentation on how the facility will operate, arrangements for residents moving from Mount Alvernia, and plans for long-stay patients currently at St Bernard's Hospital.

Members of the public will then have an opportunity to ask questions about the new home and elderly residential services.

The meeting forms part of three public open days at the Rooke Building, running from Monday to Wednesday.

Health Minister Gemma Arias-Vasquez says holding the meeting at the facility will allow people to see the building and put questions directly to those responsible.
