As from Monday, the Gibraltar Alzheimer’s & Dementia Society will be delivering ‘MEALS ON WHEELS’ to people living with dementia in the community. The service will be available Monday to Friday.
The charity says Covid-19 measures have required the Bella Vista Day Centre to stop its services in order to be temporarily used as a residential space for elderly patients transferred out of John Cochrance Ward at St Bernards.
GADS says many of the Bella Vista Day Centre service users are now at home. It says a hot meal would help these people and their families, as well as others living with dementia, during these difficult times.
If you know of anyone who would benefit please contact GADS on 56001422.
