Gibraltar will be represented at the UK Liberal Democrats’ annual party conference, with the Deputy Chief Minister in Brighton this weekend.
This marks the start of the political party conference season in the UK, which is again expected to be dominated by Brexit this year. Joseph Garcia will address a meeting on Sunday under the theme “Brexit Two Years On – Views from Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Gibraltar”. Minister for Justice, Neil Costa, will attend separate discussions on the impact of Brexit on the legal profession and justice system.
As is traditional, the Government will host a reception, and there will also be an exhibition stand again to spread Gibraltar’s message to delegates, parliamentarians and the media.
