Gibraltar's Disability Society has welcomed the budget announcement that businesses will be able to claim a deduction equal to the cost of works that are carried out in order to improve inclusion and access up to a maximum of £15,000.
The news came during the Chief Minister's budget speech along with confirmation that the Disability benefit and Disabled Individuals Tax Allowance will both increase in accordance with inflation.
The society says it also welcomes the news of the planned review on supported employment schemes, if tentatively, as it claims it was completely ignored when it offered input ahead of the creation of the Supported Employment Company, which it says has completely failed.
Despite this, the Disability Society once again offers advice and input ahead of the government's planned review.
