The Gibraltar Morocco Business Association has welcomed what it calls the "well overdue" commemorative plaque,
placed by Unite at its Transport House headquarters, in honour of the Moroccan workers who came over when the Spanish dictator Francisco Franco closed the frontier.
The association argues this shows how vulnerable Gibraltar was, and is, in being over-reliant on Spain, and at the mercy of political pressures at its entry points.
It argues solving this should be one of the Government's priorities, with or without Brexit.
