Gibraltar on track to administer second dose of vaccines

Administration of the second dose of vaccines is due to start this weekend with the Government expected to carry this out in the same order of priority.

Data on many people have rejected the vaccine is being collated but over 95% of the over 70 age group have taken up the offer of vaccination.

The next delivery is expected before the end of the month as planned.

In answer to GBC questions on whether Gibraltar is likely to be affected if the EU limits how many Pfizer vaccines the UK gets from now on, Public Health says that at this stage it has every reason to assume the vaccine supply will continue as planned.
