Gibraltarian travellers say panic & chaos overcame Indonesia’s streets after second major earthquake this week struck

Two Gibraltarian travellers have told GBC that panic and chaos overcame Indonesia’s streets after the second major earthquake this week struck. Teacher Daniella Fa and engineer Sarah Perera were in Bali when an earthquake with a magnitude of 6.2 struck earlier today.

They were on Lombok island on Sunday when a 6.9-magnitude tremor is believed to have killed at least 259 people – possibly many more – as rescue agencies continue to coordinate relief efforts.
