Government accuses GSD of political opportunism over burst pipe

The Government has described the Opposition's statement on the flooding at Leanse Place, which caused the Department of Immigration and Home Affairs to close for the day, as a case of political opportunism.
It says the opposition's attempt to, again, use a maintenance issue to present the rent paid for Leanse Place as poor value for money is myopic and misleading.
A burst pipe, it says, does not retrospectively make that investment economically unsound.
