The GSD has said while the extension of bridging measures by Spain until the end of the year is welcome, the Government needs to do more to find a resolution to the issues facing blue ID card holders.
In a statement, the Opposition Party says all permanent residents of Gibraltar should be recognised as such pending the outcome of the negotiations for a future EU relationship treaty.
In response, the Government says it will continue to raise the issue of the stamping of passports belonging to blue Gibraltar Civilian Registration card holders. It says it's already made it clear that it is not satisfied with the situation, and would like to see a resolution.
