Government exploring potential for park & ride on Spanish side of frontier, says Transport Minister

The Government is exploring the possibility of creating a Park and Ride facility on the Spanish side of the frontier.

The Minister for Transport, John Cortes, revealed that discussions are ongoing during last night’s Viewpoint programme on travel and tourism.

Following criticism from GSD MPs Damon Bossino and Giovanni Origo, who said infrastructure plans should already have been in place, Tourism Minister Christian Santos said the Government could only move forward once the Treaty had been agreed.
