The GSLP Liberals have invited leader of the GSD party, Keith Azopardi, to correct himself on the matter of a comment made during Monday night's 'Leaders' Question Time' programme on GBC.
On it, Mr Azopardi, claimed the GSLPLiberal commitment to raise the minimum wage to £7.50 an hour was only "an intention" and that no legislation had been passed for future years.
The GSLP Liberals have pointed out that on July 4th, the government gave legal effect to the commitment to raise the minimum wage by way of legal notice 133 of 2019. They've invited Mr Azopardi to correct his statement.
