The GSD has described traffic Monday morning as chaos caused by abysmal leadership. It blames the government for failing to plan adequately.
It claims the government has now engaged a consultant on the matter of the closure and questions why this did not happen sooner.
Shadow Minister for Transport, Elliot Phillips calls on the government to reopen Line Wall Road on Mondays, between 8 and 10am, in order to avoid congestion, although he says the party’s preference would be to abandon the scheme entirely.
