The GSD has launched its general election manifesto, with the slogan "The Future You Deserve" and a focus on the economy.
The party describes it as the most serious and comprehensive programme for government available at this election.
The 122-page manifesto promises to provide a 30 year plan for Gibraltar's future, which will balance economic objectives, social needs, and the environment.
Among the commitments included in the manifesto are the regeneration of the dockyard, and the development of the Rooke site to include an emergency services hub, rental homes and a park. The GSD also says it will commission a public health study on the effects of pollution, and commits to relocate the St Bernardette's Resource Centre and St Martin's School and create a new Technical College.
The party says it will set up an Independent Commission for Standards, and require that Parliament approve the creation of any new Government-controlled companies. It devotes a large part of its manifesto to commitments relating to money, prosperity, and employment.
In contrast, the section relating to Brexit is just two pages long. However, GSD Leader, Keith Azopardi, says it underpins the manifesto as a whole, which he says aims to prepare Gibraltar for whatever may come.
You can pick up a copy of the manifesto from the GSD's premises on College Lane, or by downloading it from their website, gsd.gi.
